The Vision
To be honest our vision is strangely simple – to know Jesus Christ intimately and dwell in his presence. This is described in (1 Cor. 2:2) where the apostle Paul says, we have "resolved to know nothing ... except Jesus Christ and Him crucified". God is looking for lovers of Him and his presence, not just focussing on ‘doing stuff’.
This said, ‘good works’ will flow out of that intimacy naturally out of faith working through love. Of course we want lives changed, souls saved and brought into the Kingdom, the gifts of God here on earth but all of that comes from looking, gazing and ‘fixing our eyes on Jesus’.
